Terms of Service

Welcome to LureScore. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LureScore mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). LureScore is operated by the developer identified in the Google Play listing for the App ("LureScore," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

LureScore provides fishing-related information and tools, including fishing activity indexes, water-flow analysis, weather information, fishing records, location-based features, and algorithm-generated recommendations.

The Service is intended to provide informational and recreational assistance to anglers. Information and recommendations generated by LureScore are based on available data and algorithms and may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable.

You are responsible for evaluating information independently and making your own decisions about where, when, and how to fish.

2. Fishing and Outdoor Safety

LureScore does not provide safety, emergency, navigation, medical, or professional advice.

You are solely responsible for assessing conditions and determining whether a fishing activity is safe and appropriate. Do not rely on LureScore as your sole source of information for weather conditions, water conditions, navigation, emergency situations, or personal safety. Always follow applicable safety guidance, local regulations, posted warnings, boating requirements, fishing regulations, and instructions from relevant authorities.

3. Local Laws and Regulations

Fishing laws and regulations vary by location and may change over time. You are solely responsible for determining and complying with all applicable laws, regulations, licenses, permits, seasons, catch limits, size limits, access restrictions, and other requirements.

LureScore does not guarantee that information provided through the Service reflects the most current laws or regulations in your location.

4. Accounts

Some features of the Service may require an account. You agree to:

• provide accurate and current information when creating an account;
• keep your account information reasonably up to date;
• maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials; and
• promptly notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. The Service is not directed to children under 13.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features of LureScore may require a paid subscription, including Premium membership levels such as L2 or L3.

Subscription prices, billing periods, available features, and applicable taxes will be displayed before purchase.

Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions purchased through Google Play automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel the subscription before renewal. Your subscription is billed through your Google Play account, and subscription management and cancellation are handled through Google Play.

You may manage or cancel your subscription through the applicable Google Play subscription settings. Cancellation generally prevents future renewal but does not automatically provide a refund for the current billing period, except where required by applicable law.

6. User Content

You may be able to submit or store content through the Service, including fishing records, photographs, notes, catch information, and fishing locations ("User Content").

You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant LureScore a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, process, and display that User Content solely as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.

This license ends when the relevant User Content is deleted, except to the extent that continued retention or processing is reasonably necessary for legal, security, backup, fraud-prevention, or other legitimate purposes described in our Privacy Policy.

DMCA notices. If you believe User Content hosted through the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice containing the information required by 17 U.S.C. section 512(c)(3) to the copyright contact listed below. We may remove or restrict access to allegedly infringing material and may terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for unlawful purposes;
• interfere with or disrupt the Service;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;
• scrape, crawl, copy, or systematically collect data from the Service without our permission;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service;
• introduce malware, malicious code, or other harmful material;
• impersonate another person or entity;
• use the Service to violate another person's privacy or rights; or
• use the Service in a manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service.

8. Third-Party Services and Data

The Service may rely on third-party services and data providers, including weather providers, payment processors, subscription-management providers, hosting providers, and other technology providers. Third-party information may be delayed, inaccurate, incomplete, unavailable, or changed without notice. LureScore does not guarantee the accuracy, availability, reliability, or completeness of third-party information.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, interface, trademarks, logos, graphics, text, algorithms, and other content, is owned by or licensed to LureScore and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works from the Service or its proprietary content.

We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or restrict any part of the Service at any time. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LureScore and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses arising out of or related to:

• your violation of these Terms;
• your unlawful use of the Service;
• your User Content; or
• your violation of another person's rights.

14. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, created a security risk, engaged in unlawful activity, or otherwise misused the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.

Termination does not affect rights or obligations that by their nature should survive termination, including provisions concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and applicable law.

15. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your LureScore account through the account settings within the App or through the public deletion page linked in the Google Play listing. Your account is disabled when a deletion request is accepted. After the 30-day deletion period described in our Privacy Policy, personal information and User Content will be permanently deleted, subject to limited retention required or permitted by law, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or financial recordkeeping. Account deletion is permanent after that period and cannot be undone.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we may provide notice through the Service or by other appropriate means. The updated Terms will include a new "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the LureScore operator has its principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent mandatory law requires otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that you may have under mandatory consumer-protection laws applicable to you. Any arbitration, class-action waiver, or forum-selection provision will apply only if separately presented and accepted in a manner permitted by applicable law.
